Hiking in the Dolomites
Surrounded by pristine nature, far from any traffic and noise, you may hike on Europe’s largest alpine plateau and enjoy the magnificent view over the UNESCO World Heritage – the Dolomites. Here, you will find 450 km of hiking trails and 300 days of sunshine a year. The ideal conditions for your hiking vacation in the Dolomites.

Children will be thrilled by the barefoot path “Witch Springs”, which leads past healing sulphur springs and carved monsters through the “Bosch Curasoa” forest. From there, you may reach the witch springs in a short time.

Away from the easy family walking paths, you may climb the peaks of the Dolomites together with our local alpine guides. Venture from the Bear Gorge across the rocky mountain wall to the Tires Alp. Here at 2,500 m, all paths from Mount Sciliar, Sasso Longo, Sasso Piatto, Alpe di Siusi and the Nature Park Sciliar-Catinaccio come together.
Climbing
Would you like to conquer the surrounding mountain peaks of the Dolomites during your holiday at the farm Pliegerhof? No problem, because our farm in Castelrotto is located between the Sciliar Massif, the Sasso Longo Group and the Catinaccio – Thus, our area is a true climbing paradise for all mountaineers. Different levels of difficulty promise exciting experiences full of adrenaline!
Paragliding & Swimming
Pure adrenalin guaranteed – take a flight with a paraglider. Book a tandem flight with experienced paragliders and discover the most beautiful mountain peaks of South Tyrol from a bird’s eye view.
If you prefer to cool off in the fresh water, visit the public, heated outdoor pool Telfen or the nearby Lake of Fiè. Here, you and your children may splash around and relax after an exciting hiking day, admiring the majestic Mount Sciliar.
