Walking like the Finnish do
The soft way to get fit - thanks to different ski- and snowboard schools on Alpe di Siusi.
You can choose between private lessons or group lessons - for beginners and experts. Each week, all fitness enthusiasts, will have the chance to enjoy different Nordic Walking excursions. An experienced instructor will be glad to show you all the techniques in a short preparation course.

Alpe di Siusi is the home of the Haflinger horses. Both in Castelrotto and Alpe di Siusi, all horse lovers will find several stables offering courses and horse excursions. There is no better way to discover the Alpe di Siusi and its surroundings than on a horse's or pony's back.
Bus tours
Sassolungo - tour:
Reach Passo Sella by car and take the cableway to Sassolungo. Nice walk to the Alpine hut Sassolungo. Descent on the right, pass the alpine hut Comici and go back to the Passo Sella. Unforgettable trip!
Excursions and day trips
Pliegerhof – Marinzen – Bulaccia - Pliegerhof:
Starting point: Pliegerhof.
Follow the path nr. 11 to Marinzen, Schafstall and the rifugio Arnika. Descent after 300 m in direction Marinzen/Schafstall/Castelrotto. Follow the signs to Marinzen.
Swimming in South Tyrol
During the hot summer months, all of our guests will have the possibility to enjoy the fresh water of our little mountain lakes:
- the little pond of Fiè: at the feet of the Sciliar and the Sartner mountain top, you will find one of the most beautiful lakes in Italy. Known for the excellent properties of its water, this lake is the ideal destination for families with children and for those who want to spend some relaxing hours. Parking directly on the lake. The little pond of Fiè is also an ideal starting point for excursions and hikes.
Golf at the Alpe di Siusi

Thanks to its perfect location in the middle of the Dolomites, the golf course of Castelrotto has been declared one of the most beautiful golf courses in Northern Italy.
Very nice and well - kept 18-hole course; a great challenge for every passionate golfer.
